Terms of Use
The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology portal is available for your personal use. Your access and use are governed by these terms and by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Accessing the portal constitutes unconditional acceptance of these terms, effective from your first use. Amendments take effect upon publication; continued use constitutes full acceptance.
Usage restrictions
By using the portal you agree not to: upload files or material you do not own or hold a license for; use the portal to send commercial or unsolicited mail; upload files containing viruses or malicious software; publish material that violates the law, public morals, or Islamic teachings; engage in illegal activities; interfere with the portal's proper operation; impose an unreasonable load on its infrastructure; or commit any act that violates the Anti-Cyber Crime Law or any other applicable law of the Kingdom.
Intellectual property
All portal content is the property of the Ministry, protected under Saudi copyright and trademark law. Content may not be sold, licensed, modified, copied, or republished without prior written consent, except for scientific and research purposes with attribution. In any dispute over an idea's intellectual property, the participant releases the Ministry from all liability and bears full responsibility alone.
Termination
The Ministry may, at its sole discretion, terminate, restrict, or suspend a user's access without notice, for operational reasons or upon violation of these terms.
Jurisdiction
Users are subject to the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, whose courts have jurisdiction over any claims arising from this policy, including the Anti-Cyber Crime Law where applicable.
Liability and indemnity
Electronic services are provided to facilitate procedures; use of the portal is at the user's own risk and the Ministry accepts no liability for losses or damages. The user indemnifies the Ministry and its employees against obligations arising from portal use. The portal and its services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
Virus protection
Users must run antivirus software on all downloaded material, and must report any misuse or suspected security vulnerability to: info@mcit.gov.sa.
Comment and participation standards
All comments are filtered for compliance with publication standards; the administration may decline to publish inappropriate comments. Comments must respect public morals and Kingdom laws, stay on topic, avoid personal attacks and sectarianism, and contain no personal contact information.
Additional terms for the Innovation Ideas Platform
- The idea owner's profile (full name, job title, email) is displayed with any post or comment they share.
- All ideas appear on the homepage, including most-liked and most-viewed listings.
- Sharing any idea or suggestion constitutes consent to share it with the Ministry or its designee.
- To request deletion of an idea, contact the Business Development team at: BD_Innov@mcit.gov.sa
